Really enjoying my hammock-tent. Fits everywhere.

The one time I’ve tried camping in a hammock, I found myself constantly ending up in a ball down in the middle. Did I just do something stupid, or are these “purpose built” in some way? Or is that a thing?

Hmmm, that’s a very good question, I’ve never experienced that. When setting it up, you have to have it looking as if it was tensed straight. As you settle into it, that parachute-type fabric stretches to the comfortable bow shape. I guess if you had set it with the bow right off the bat, maybe said bow was just too acute in the end.

I’ll have to give it another go some time. Seems like a really nice ultralight set-up when conditions are right.

I’ll have it with me in Whistler. 🙂

I also have to say that of all the hammocks I’ve tried in my life, parachute-type fabric is absolutely the way to go! Strength, comfort, light.
