We’re now in Playacar, Playa del carmen, Mexico. We’ve been here for 3 days now but I was only able to activate my TelCel 3G stick this morning. đ

Momentus XT Disappointment
http://twitter.com/#!/stephdau/status/13686767123177472
Had to RMA the drive back for a refund, since I’m leaving Montreal for a trip tomorrow and NewEgg wouldn’t ship a replacement to Mexico… Quite disappointed, but nothing critical since I was upgrading for a speed boost, rather than replacing a dead drive. Shame though.

Via Montreal Tech Watch » Québec Government makes way for open source software in IT infrastructure.

Mutually Helpful
[wpvideo lWpyIpPS]
The car behind us was parked so bad today that one of the city’s sidewalk snow-remover got stuck and the only way to get it out was to move our car. So we got to work, helped by the city’s employees. I wish they got stuck every winter morning, it’d be so much easier/faster to get the kids to school. đ
