Video: first time sky diving
I went skydiving for the first time, while in San Diego last week. What an epic time that was. My biggest surprise was that at no time was I ever nervous. I was beyond eager, as the perma-grin testifies of in the video. Thanks Automattic, and Pacific Coast Skydiving!

Portland to San Diego road trip: Santa Clarita to San Diego
Well, all good thing must eventually come to an end, and so here are some photos from the last leg of our 1,572 miles (2,529 km) road trip, taking us to San Diego, via the Angeles National Forest mountains and subsequent desert.
I’ve got to tell you: I never thought the Dodge Viper would be this comfortable to ride in. Those bucket seats are like lounge chairs. Just much faster. š
