Alexander “Sasha” Shulgin, pioneer, pharmacologist, author, and medicinal chemist, passed away this evening at the age of 88. He is best known for introducing MDMA, the purest form of ecstasy, to psychologists in the 70s.

Glad I paid attention to the sky! I didn’t know about the storm warning…
I was coding with my headphones on, happily sitting outside on my back deck, when I noticed the “ambient lighting” going waaaay down. Then the wind picked up.

Dodged it! Oh, wait, nope… All 4 of my Jeep’s windows were down to let it air out after some fiberglass work. D’oh! Good thing is, it was all dry and set, so no issues with that work. And the door trims? Well, those got a good cleaning, I guess. 🙂
